Jesus Christ told his disciples before his ascension that anyone who follows him must be ready to face persecution and humiliation, especially, if you are a mantle carrier! He said the world would hate you because they hated him before you, but be of good cheer. He said his joy he leaves with you not as the world gives; but you must be a Peter to enjoy this joy and not a Judas Iscariot! Every Peter is given the grace and must burn off the inglorious cobweb of test trials in their front.
The present national and international travails of Nigerian based vocal apostle, Johnson Suleiman, does little to add to the credibility of the Church! What the Church of Christ need now is Holy Spirit revival in our homes, communities, towns and cities to create a rebound of the depleting souls in God’s Kingdom. Rightly or wrongly, the internet through the social media is causing havoc in the household of faith, because many hidden secrets of revered servants of God are making world headlines, rather than salvation and holiness stories. John the Baptist came into the world as a fore-runner of our Lord Jesus Christ, he had an assignment which was to preach repentance and thereby trouble the hearts of men. It took him a while, but he succeeded! Tudor Bismark is a man with such commission. Over the years he has impacted millions of people in a subtle and quiet way with his brand of apostolic teaching of how God want his children to dominate the earth and live above powers.
I have been privileged to sit under his teachings in many of his US and UK tours. The way and manner he breaks down the elemental forces in relation to God’s creation leaves you in a quandary. There is no way you listen to a Bishop Bismark audio or watch his video and remain the same. Continue reading
To all the thousands of users of http://www.phillipseteng.com blog from across the world, I want to honestly apologize for the interruption in accessing the website on the internet over two weeks now. I cherish your continuous patronage of my blog and the emails of testimonies.
The economic recession in Nigeria, my country, affected everything including online dollar payment and purchases. The change affected the domain name renewal, hence the delay in settling the bill for continuous access of the website by the general public. Thank God, the blog is now live and active again. I am compelled to reproduce a letter I wrote to two former Nigerian Presidents concerning the cause of the failure to achieve steady level of electricity power supply for over forty years in the country. To ensure that he get to read the content of my letter, apart from dropping a copy at the Presidential Villa, I posted a copy to his Facebook page.
A onetime cabinet Minister at the Presidency picked up a Google search of the Spiritual Solution to Electricity Crisis in Nigeria, and used an extract during a media chat. He was ridiculed by the national press, who stated that instead of proffering real life solutions to solving the electricity supply problems, he is attributing it to the supernatural! We give thanks to Almighty God for granting us life to cross over to another year. The bible says the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off. So your expectation in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ, 2017 shall be reverenced for sometime to come. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that it is a year of FIRE!
Fire has many spiritual and physical meaning to the Christian. As it can be consuming, so can it also be warming and refining. This is the year with the peculiar unique number seven, which in the spiritual realm connotes perfection and refinement. The Holy Spirit says its only those who have fire on the outside and the inside, that will survive 2017. Many Christians have quenched their fire because of the lust of the glory of the world, material possession has overshadowed righteousness and holiness. Continue reading
The feeling of holidays is always more pronounced when December shows its face; the most celebrated Christian festival on the planet fills the atmosphere. Newly born babies are not exempted from the feeling of joy and happiness in homes across nations. In a country like Nigeria, my home, where there is almost equal divide between Christians and Moslems, the season is celebrated together! The controversy surrounding the origin of Christmas and whether or not it represent the actual day Jesus Christ, the reason for the celebration was born, is an issue only the Holy Spirit can resolve. Many bible scholars will tell you that from the Scriptural narrative, the Shepherd attending to their flock would not be found out in the open during winter, which December represent in Israel. The Angels heralding the arrival of the Messiah, the saviour of mankind met the shepherds in the open field at night, winter is colder at night than during the day.
The financial markets and the stock exchange around the world opened on depressed notes, when it was obvious that billionaire US business man, Donald Trump, was just three points away from victory. Hillary Clinton could not gather enough electoral points to reach the magic number of 270 electoral college votes needed to win the Whitehouse. The most hotly contested US presidential election in the history of North America. What stood out right from the beginning of the presidential campaign was the body language of Donald Trump, which showed a man with a mission to stir up the inner dissatisfaction of white Americans on the effect of globalization on the US. It caught on like wild fire; re-awaking racist bigots and those who believe migrants have stolen their jobs and their country. Donald woke up a monster hidden in the hearts of many white working class Americans.
Shepherd Bushiri Ministering in New York City
Malawian Prophet and General Overseer of ECG Church, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, has launched a branch of his Church in New York City in the United States. The move is part of the prophet desire to reach the Americans with his prophetic gift. Early in the year, Bushiri and his wife paid a working visit to the city that never sleep. The flamboyant minister who is the youngest man to own a Gulf Stream jet, combines his work for God with ownership of several high networth businesses; ranging from mining, real estate, forex trading, electronic industry, banking and a university of agriculture in South Sudan.
