The Fruit Of The Spirit?

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law.” Gal.5:22-23

The presence of the Holy Spirit in a Christian’s life brings about diverse kinds of fruit. It can be liken to Joseph coat of many colours, which his father particularly made as an expression of the love he had for him. Jesus Christ, our Lord, told us that he will not leave us empty as he will tell the Father to send us the comforter. This comforter known as the Holy Spirit produces seed which germinate and bear fruit.

We must differentiate between Spiritual gifts and the fruit of the Spirit. The gifts represent an endowment, while the fruit is the yield of the full presence of the giver, the Holy Spirit. The Bible keep admonishing the believer not to defile their body, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. When truly you have the presence of the Holy Spirit inside of you, the nine essences of the fruit will be made physically manifest. It cannot be hidden! Jesus Christ is the seed of the Holy spirit, he by virtue of the redemption of mankind by his blood, gave birth to you the believer who is a new creation

The Nine Essence Of The Fruit?

A close study of the scripture refers to the fruit (singular) not fruits as commonly referred to by believers. When you take Vit B12 or Vit C, you have just succeeded in solving one problem, what happens to the Iron deficiency etc. As a Christian you have to endeavour to have all the essence of the Fruit in your life.

1. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. John.15:2

2. For the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true. Eph.5:9

3. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. Jam 3:17
