Is Jesus Christ God?

Image of Jesus Christ This is one of the most contentious issue in the secular world today and within some Christian denominations. The confusion stems from the fact that Jesus Christ state that “ I and my Father are one and that if you have seen him (Jesus) you have seen the Father!” Many people who are poorly fed with the gospel believe that God left His Throne in heaven to come and interact with his creation, humanity. He therefore came in the personality of Jesus Christ, whom they regard as both God and man. Others don’t believe Jesus Christ is the Almighty God’s Son.

While still some people confuse the trinity as a worship of three Gods; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit: Among the Jewish faith, Jesus Christ is one of the prophets that came and cannot be said to be the son of God; the much expected Messiah is the one that would liberate the Jewish nation from its enemies and bring a new order as the King of the Jews. And he is still being awaited to date! The Islamic faith contrasts the Jewish faith a little, by believing in the divine birth of Jesus Christ by Mary, the wife of Joseph. However, their contention is that Jesus is not the son of God, but a prophet and should therefore not be worshipped. The Muslims believe He has no power to forgive sins as claimed by Christians, only God Almighty has that power.

Many religious researchers have studied the Holy Bible, the Christian guide book; over and over again to find out if truly Jesus Christ is the Son of God or God himself! There are so many Bible scriptures that has addressed this issue, but millions of curious researchers often glossed over it; either intentionally or by omission!

Right from the beginning of creation, there existed a divine being from a realm that had no physical existence, but a spiritual form. He owned and created the spiritual realm and established an entity and populated it with spiritual beings known as Angels. These beings were to serve him and manage the affairs of His dwelling in three principle areas namely; holiness, righteousness and obedience. He had a name and his name is Jehovah and he established a government in His Kingdom known as Heaven. He impacted his divine nature to his Angelic creation by giving them extra-ordinary abilities and powers. The Angels were graded in their gifts and operated within these gifts; each one was not permitted to cross the boundary of his gift. He became the Almighty God, the owner and judge of his creation. He, however, still maintained his name Jehovah. Among those he made was Jesus Christ, who existed as a spirit being alongside him as a Son. Others were the various Arch-Angels among whom are Michael, the Commander-In-Chief of the Lord’s army; Gabriel, the Minister of Information and Chief Messenger; Lucifer, the Minister of Praise and Worship; Raphael, Andrew and many others.

While all the Angels had wings, only Jehovah, the Almighty God and Jesus had no wings. Jesus was the beloved of the God head and followed the Spiritual Father as a Son and understudied the management of the Heavenly Kingdom. He related well with the Arch-Angels as his brothers and they interacted very well. After heavens governance was well entrenched and everything worked perfectly, the God head Jehovah and His own Spirit (God is made up of soul and spirit) decided to create another realm, the universe!

The universe comprises all the planets and celestial bodies except the sun and the moon, which did not exist at the time of the universe creation. It was the God head’s decision to create a Kingdom for his heir apparent, Jesus Christ, that the earth was chosen among the many other planets in the universe to establish this new Kingdom. It was mathematically well positioned to achieve this objective.

The book of Genesis in the Holy Bible described the process that the earth had to go through to become habitable. It was like a man establishing a city in the jungle; many processes must be followed to achieve that desire! The earth at the beginning was full of water and void. The spirit of God hovered over the earth and caused the waters on the earth to sink down to reveal the dry land. He then created the Sun to be the light by day and the Moon, the light by night. Everything that the earth has was a replication of what existed in Heaven, Jehovah’s dwelling place. The earth was by extension a part of heaven but with a physical form appearance (material world).

All these while, the spiritual Jesus was side by side with his Father Jehovah, the Almighty God. Where the creation of life on earth becomes interesting is when man was made; the two people present were Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. Here is Genesis account in Gen 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” The highlighted words in the text confirm that God was not alone during the creation of man.

The image and likeness was a being with a soul, a spirit in a physical body that will be able to interact with the new environment. God’s form is not different from you reading this write-up; our only difference is that He is a Spirit with a body in like manner that can interact with the spiritual environment. That is the reason He told his human creation to worship him in spirit and truth. You can only have access to Almighty God in the spirit through spiritual worship, prayers, exercise (fasting) and dreams and in rare situation physical interaction.

Here is Jesus Christ own account of himself found in John 5:19-24, “ Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever he does, that the Son does likewise. For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all that he himself is doing; and greater works than these will he show him, that you may marvel.

For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.”

From the above statement by Jesus Christ himself, he has the power to give life, just like God Almighty has the power to give life. It is that life that was breathe into the sculptured man that turn him into a living being having a spirit, soul and physical body. Jesus Christ is God because of the power and authority Jehovah God has bestowed upon him from the beginning of His spiritual existence. Two distinctions must be made here; Jesus Christ is the Mighty God, while Jehovah is the Almighty God. The earth was created for him, that was where the trouble started in heaven…( Part 2 is the Violence that Took Place in Heaven)

  1. The world was created through Jesus Christ, as were all things. The Trinity is, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The trouble started in heaven
when a created being, an angel called Lucifer, who is the devil. Wanted to be like God.

Many thanks for sharing the word and what the Lord would have you to share re rapture. Jesus Christ was and is God incarnate. God is a Spirit. It was the Spirit that moved upon the earth and that created all things by the word. God Almighty decided to come down to earth in the form of flesh, y the name Jesus which means the LORD (JEHOVAH is salvation, or the LORD has become salvation). He was 100% man and 100% God. He said over and over again in the book of Isaiah, there is but only one God and that he will not give his glory to another. Please see Isaiah e.g. see also aspect of revelation God gave me through his word….’God himself also make declarations such as “I have declared and have saved…” (Isaiah 43:12); “Thus said the LORD your redeemer, the Holy one of Israel“ (Isaiah 43:14; see also 49:7) ; “I even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour; Look unto me and be ye saved’’(Isaiah 45: 21-22; Isaiah 46:9; Hosea 13:4 ) it means that He (God) is not only the saviour but that there is only one God.
“The devils also believe, and tremble” (Ja 2:19) and it is the first and the greatest commandment (Mark 12:28-30). God had also declared His oneness to Israel, through Moses when He stated: “Hear, Oh Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD….’He re emphasised this through Isaiah by declaring such as: “Ye are my witnesses, …I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me” (Isaiah 43: 3,10-12; 45:5-7). “I am the LORD: and there is none else, there is no God beside me” (Isaiah 45: 5, 6, 14, 18, 22; see also 44:6). He also declared himself as “the first and the last” (Isaiah 41:4; 44:6; 48:12), and swore by himself that unto him every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall swear….. may the Lord who gave you revelation about the rapture also give you revelation of himself to who he really is. God bless and keep you always.
